Valerian is cultivated in controlled circumstances where the optimum growing conditions can be guaranteed. This high degree of care ensures the carefully selected roots are harvested at their absolute peak so they produce the highest yield of active ingredient: a patented extract called LI 156.

After gently drying the root to preserve this active ingredient, we use state of the art processing methods to extract, purify and measure it. Every Valerian tablet contains a concentrated, standardised 300mg extract of valerian root (Valeriana officinalis) providing 1800µg of active ingredient. This is found to be the optimum amount for the body. Absolute accuracy means you can be confident you will get the same dose every time.

Valerian root can also be found in Sedonium which is only available over the counter in pharmacies.

1-2 tablets in the evening before going to bed. Swallow whole with a glass of water or cold liquid. Do not chew.
