Nicotinell Mint 24 2mg Nicotine Withdrawal Relief Gum
- For the relief of nicotine withdrawal symptoms when stopping smoking
- Low strength 2mg for those smoking less than 20 cigarettes per day
Nicotinell Mint Flavour Gum provides an effective aid to combat the unpleasant withdrawal symptoms caused by giving up smoking. The 2mg strength is more suited for those who are light smokers i.e. smoking less than 20 cigarettes per day.
Adults and children over 12 years: Chew 1 piece slowly when you feel the urge to smoke. Most people use 8-12 pieces per day. Maximum 25 pieces of gum per day
Use the Nicotinell Chewing Technique: Chew slowly until the taste becomes strong, then rest between gum and cheek. Chew again when taste has faded.
Children 12 to 18 should not use for more than 12 weeks without consulting a doctor, nurse or pharmacist.
Adults aged 18 and over should not use for more than 6 months without consulting a doctor, nurse or pharmacist.

DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE
Rectangular, off-white chewing gum tablet with polished surface containing: Nicotine 2mg.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Talk to your doctor, nurse or a pharmacist for advice if:
You have stomach ulcers, other stomach problems or suffer from persistent indigestion or pains in the chest.
You have heart problems, kidney or liver disease, an overactive thyroid gland, diabetes, or are taking other medicines i.e. theophylline, clozapine or ropinirole.
Consult your doctor, nurse or pharmacist before using, if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or are breast-feeding.
All medicines can cause side effects so, if you experience any side effects, STOP taking the medicine and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
