Canesten Thrush Cream is an effective double strength treatment for candidal vulvitis and penile thrush. It contains Fluconazole an effective antifungal agent that gets to the source of the infection and starts to relieve the symptoms within a couple of days. It provides soothing relief from the external itching associated with vaginal thrush and treats the symptoms of penile thrush.
Adults 16 to 60 years Apply the cream thinly to affected areas 2 or 3 times daily and rub in gently. Treatment should be continued for up to one week after treating the internal infection in women, and for two weeks in men
Not recommended under 16 or over 60 years except under medical advice.

One 20g tube of Canesten Thrush cream contains Clotrimazole 400mg (2% w/w). It also contains benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol and purified water.
