Product Details

Germoloids Ointment relieves the symptoms of internal and external haemorrhoids (piles) which include pain, itching and irritation immediately around the anus. Germoloids Ointment contains Zinc oxide an astringent that helps to soothe and protect the area around the back passage from damage and has mild antiseptic properties and Lidocaine a local anaesthetic that helps to soothe swelling, pain and irritation and relieve itching.

Directions

For external haemorrhoids, and itching in the area around the back passage, apply the cream directly.
For internal haemorrhoids, screw the applicator nozzle onto tube and gently insert the applicator into the opening of the back passage. Gently squeeze the tube whilst slowly withdrawing the nozzle so that the cream moves gently up the back passage. The insertion is eased by smearing some of the cream on the outside of the nozzle. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application. Keep the tube of ointment, including cap and nozzle, scrupulously clean.
Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Apply to the affected area at least twice a day with a minimum of 3 to 4 hours between applications.
Further applications can be made at any time of the day, and are particularly recommended after a bowel movement
Do not use more than four times in any 24-hour period
Not recommended under 12 years except under medical advice.

Ingredients

Active ingredients Zinc oxide 6.6% w/w. Lidocaine hydrochloride 0.7% w/w. Also contains yellow soft paraffin, wool fat, methyl salicylate, proplylene glycol and menthol.
