If you’re trying for a baby, knowing when you’re most fertile can make all the difference. The Clearblue Ovulation Test is a simple test you can use at home to find out when you’re ovulating. It tells you the best 2 days in your cycle to conceive, by detecting the rise of the ovulation hormone, known as Luteinising Hormone (LH). This test is 99% accurate at detecting your LH surge.
After taking the test, your result will takes just 3 minutes to appear. It will first show a Reference Line, to indicate the test has been performed correctly, and then a Surge Line. The strength of the Surge Line indicates whether you’re ovulating. If it is similar to the Reference Line, or even darker, your LH surge has been detected, making the next 48 hours the most likely time to conceive. This test can detect the rise of the ovulation hormone 24 to 36 hours before ovulation
Directions
Before you start testing, establish your usual cycle length. Always read the instruction leaflet. Around the time when you expect your LH surge, use the Clearblue Ovulation Test once a day at the same time each day. To use, hold the absorbent sampler in your urine stream for 5 seconds
