A. Vogel Prostasan Saw Palmetto Capsules draw their inspiration from an ancient Native American recipe, which uses extracts from the Saw Palmetto tree to try to reduce or control age-related prostate enlargement, known medically as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This condition is common in older men; as the years advance, the prostate begins to grow larger, and because of its anatomical position, can often make urination difficult or, in extreme cases, impossible. When Alfred Vogel visited the Seminole Indians of Florida in the 1950s, he learned about their uses of the Saw Palm, also known a the sabal serrulata or serenoa, in attempting to control this condition. These Prostasan tablets are based on these traditional ideas. The plants contain natural oils and fatty acids, which have been uniformly extracted and included in this alternative remedy.
