International Biosciences DNA Paternity Test collection kit offers a 100% accurate result to provide peace of mind and a definitive link between the father and child in question. By following a set of simple steps, the test can be analysed by the laboratory and accurate results will be returned quickly. Please note that an additional laboratory fee of will be required when sending the test. This fee will include the testing of 1 alleged father, 1 mother and 1 child. Any more participants may be tested for an additional cost.

8 steps
• Samples that contain coffee, tea or tobacco residues may affect results. Avoid coffee, tea or products containing tobacco 4 hours prior to using the kit.
• Wash your hands and rinse the subject’s mouth 3 times with warm water. For infants, allow them to drink water from bottle or allow 2 hours from last feed.
• Remove the first swab from sterile packaging. DO NOT touch the tip of the swab. Roll the tip on the inside of the cheeks 30 times each for approximately 1 minute. Make sure that the swab move firmly around the cheek, covering the entire surface.
• Repeat the process for the same individual with the second swab. You must submit two 2 swabs per person.
• Allow the swabs to dry at room temperature for at least 15 minutes. DO NOT allow the swabs to touch anything.
• Place the used swabs in the appropriate sample collection envelope – DO NOT put swabs back in the original plastic packaging – Ensure all details are correct on the envelope, including a signature. Ensure the envelope is firmly sealed.
• Repeat the same process for each individual.
• Once completed, put all samples into the reply envelope along with all the relevant registration forms. It is important that all payment details and signatures are complete otherwise the process will be delayed.
