Vaseline Petroleum Jelly helps prevent and treat nappy rash, chafing and chapped skin. It also protects skin from dryness. Tried and tested for over 100 years, Vaseline helps skin in 2 ways: 1) it protects skin from the effects of exposure to irritants, and 2) it forms a barrier to prevent skin from losing moisture and drying out, so that moisture is allowed to build up naturally from within the skin.
Vaseline is a smooth jelly that has a melting point just above body temperature. When applied, it literally melts into the skin. Vaseline is a mixture of mineral oils, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes that have been blended together.
