Preparation H Ointment is an effective cream for treating sore, dry skin in the intimate anal area. It works to relieve itchiness and dry skin around the anus. It can also be used to relieve discomfort from external piles/haemorrhoids, on the advice of a doctor. The ingredients contain shark liver oil to calm itchiness. This ointment helps to heal sore skin around the anal area, providing moisture and hydration to alleviate dryness and irritation. Preparation H Ointment has a non-greasy complexion, and it absorbs quickly to provide rapid relief from pain, itchiness and discomfort. It can be applied freely to the affected area as needed, and should be reapplied after each bowel movement to help keep the skin free from itchiness and irritation.
