Containing the cough suppressant Pholdine, Pavacol D provides effective relief of dry, tickly coughs. Sugar free it is suitable for diabetics and in most people causes no drowsiness.
Directions
Adults- One or two 5ml spoonfuls as required. The dose may be increased to three 5ml spoonfuls if necessary. Do not take more than a total of 60ml in 24 hours.
Children (6-12 years) Give one 5ml spoonful four to five times daily. Do not give more than 25 ml in 24 hours.
Not recommended for children under 6 years.

Ingredients
Each 5ml of cough mixture contains 5mg of Pholcodine BP as the active ingredient. Also contains the following inactive ingredients, tolu balsam, ethanol, anise oil, clove oil, peppermint oil, capsicum tincture, strong ginger tincture, sorbitol solution, saccharin sodium, parahydroxybenzoate and water.
