Nurofen Plus 24 Pain Relief Tablets Ibuprofen & Codeine

Containing the combination of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) ibuprofen and strong analgesic codeine, Nurofen Plus provides the fast, powerful relief from muscular pain, backache, rheumatic pain, cramping period pain, migraine and headache. Nurofen Plus also provides the relief of feverishness and the symptoms of cold and influenza.

Adults and children over 12 years: Take One or two tablets with water every 4 to 6 hours if necessary. Leave at least 4 hours between doses and do not take more than six tablets in 24 hours. Not recommended in children under 12 years of age. Take with or after food. Always read the information provided on the enclosed Patient Information Leaflet before taking this medicine.
DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE

Each tablet contains Ibuprofen 200mg and Codeine phosphate 12.8mg.

Seek medical advice before taking if you are pregnant, asthmatic, have liver, heart kidney or bowel problems or if you suffer from any allergies.Should not be taken if allergic to aspirin, any other anti-inflammatories or codeine, suffer from or have previously had a stomach ulcer, or take anti-clotting medication. Do not take if you are taking other NSAID painkillers or aspirin with a daily dose of over 75mg. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking a daily dose of aspirin 75mg.
Contains codeine. Warning: may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery.
Avoid alcohol drink.
All medicines can cause side effects. Ibuprofen may induce gastric irritation, nausea, dyspepsia or stomach bleeding and can cause headache, dizziness or skin rashes . Codeine can cause constipation. If you experience any side effects, STOP taking the tablets and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
This is a medicine. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist if you suffer from any medical condition, are taking any other medicines or your symptoms persist for more than three days.
