Product Details
Calprofen is a strawberry flavoured Ibuprofen suspension for babies and children. It can be taken for the relief of pain from teething, toothache, earache, headache, backache, minor muscular pain, aches, sprains and strains. Containing ibuprofen, it also reduces temperature and fever in colds and influenza.
Directions
Post-Immunisation Fever
One 2.5ml dose followed by one further 2.5ml dose 6 hours later if necessary. No more than two 2.5ml doses in 24 hours. If the fever is not reduced, consult a doctor. Not suitable for children under 3 months of age
For pain and fever
Infants 3-6 months weighing more than 5kg: One 2.5ml dose up to 3 times in 24 hours
6 to 12 months: One 2.5ml dose up to 3 times a day.
1 to 2 years: One 2.5ml dose 3 -4 times a day.
3 to 7 years One 5ml dose 3 to 4 times a day.
8-12years: 10ml 3-4 times a day.
Doses should be given every 6 to 8 hours with a minimum of 4 hours between doses.

Do not give to babies 3-6 months for longer than 24 hours and babies over 6 months for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor
DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE
Ingredients
Each 5ml spoonful contains 100mg ibuprofen.
